Government to debate the issue of food poverty in the UK

Sign our petition today to force the Government to debate the issue of food poverty in the UK, the Government need to act now by reviewing welfare options to feed the neediest in the UK today.
In the last 12 month over 1 million people have relied on the generosity of food banks to provide the most basic of human needs, Food, more needs to be done now by our Government to help those most in need.

We are asking:
• For an all-party committee to review the issue of food poverty in the UK and to lead effective change.
• A debate on the issues and a full amylases of the root cause
• A separate food poverty budget to be made available to fund more food banks across the UK
• Bigger and better tax breaks and initiatives for companies who support food charities
• Action to be taken now.
