Government with the consent of the governed? Lower voting age.

Additional Information

On behalf of the youth, I believe the government should lower the voting age to 16 in the UK. The British political system should acknowledge that over 16's are more than capable of understanding politics in our modern society and would have a positive and more democratic effect on decisions in future elections.
