Grant UKIP new seats in the House of Lords
Given the successes of UKIP in the Local and European Elections, we request you grant UKIP new Peers in the House of Lords.
Page 27 of the Coalition agreement states:
“Lords appointments will be made with the objective of creating a second chamber that is reflective of the share of the vote secured by the political parties in the last general election.”
UKIP got nearly a million votes at the 2010 General Election, and won the 2014 European Elections but has yet to see any new peers.
