Have MPs accept a pay cut, pay their own expenses and reinstate school meals.
MPs frequently cut funds to critical budgets in the public sector. Emergency services and schools being the primary targets. Whilst MPs regularly receive pay rises to their own generous salary and receive expenses for their meals. For many children, the school meal was the 1 hot meal they had a day.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for MPs' pay. The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) is responsible for deciding on MPs' expenses and pay. IPSA is independent of both Parliament and Government.
