Hinckley power station should be funded by the UK.

The country is asking foreign powers to provide and control our nuclear power. The rates of interest on the money put up is 9% and the guaranteed rate for electricity produced is such that we will suffer from higher energy prices.

Additional Information

Savers cannot obtain virtually any interest on their savings. They should be offered the opportunity of funding the project secured by the government at a rate of half that demanded by the French and Chinese. This would nevertheless allow them to invest in a project needed by the country but offering them a reasonable return on their capital.
