HMG should insist on border checks on all entering England & N. Ireland from an independent Scotland, in order to prevent illegal immigrants entering

This possibility should be discussed, considered & prepared for; should Scotland decide to become independent. Scotland border checks for everyone entering England and Northern Ireland would be necessary to prevent illegal immigrants from independent Scotland entering England and Northern Ireland. Also new RN warships may not be built in an independent Scotland. HMG should inform potential voters that an independent Scotland may find it difficult to fund various state affairs like civil service, embassies, border checks, etc. An independent Scotland may find it difficult to fund defence, immigration, foreign affairs, EU membership, civil service, Inland Revenue, momentary system, passports & driving licencing, policing, prisons, legal aid, welfare benefits, embassies in foreign countries, etc; on top of free NHS, prescriptions, schooling and higher education. Independent Scotland’s economy may well be stretched.
