This e-petition has been rejected with the following reason given:
E-petitions cannot be used to request action on issues that are outside the responsibility of the government. This includes:
- party political material
- commercial endorsements including the promotion of any product, service or publication
- issues that are dealt with by devolved bodies, eg The Scottish Parliament
- correspondence on personal issues
E-petitions cannot be used for freedom of information requests.
The following explanatory notes have been added:
The weblink in the petition title seems to be broken or unavailable. I regret that the Department for Transport cannot comment on individual cases relating to disputes about PCNs as this is entirely a matter for the relevant local authority, or in the case of a formal appeal, the appropriate adjudication service. The correct course is to challenge any PCN immediately if you feel it is unjust. The address to write to should be on the PCN.
