Ian Duncan Smith to back his claim to be able to live on £53 pw... for one year.

Additional Information

In an interview on the Today Program, as reported in The Telegraph by Rowena Mason, Political Correspondent

10:35AM BST 01 Apr 2013

Mr Duncan Smith, [...], insisted he could live on £53 a week after a housing benefit claimant said this is how much money he has a week.

We, the undersigned demand Mr Duncan Smith backs his claim by doing just that. Live for one year on an income of £53 pw (After Housing Benefit) and using pre-pay (budget) utilities meters.

As W&P secretary, Mr Duncan Smith shoud lead by example and show the people that his "reforms" are a good thing.
