Petition Action

If the average temperature of the UK reaches 30ºC, a bank holiday is declared.

Petition Details

This year it has taken until the 19th July for summer to arrive and for the temperature to surpass 30ºC, the hard working British people deserve better than having to commute and work on such a nice day. We have some of the greatest parks in the world we should use them more.

Additional Information

We already have the least amount of bank holidays in the UK compared to the rest of Europe. (Germany has 13). It is a good excuse for society to come together and enjoy what seems to be last unifying British activity of frolicking in the sun.
