Implement banking separation now
In the light of the recent disclosures regarding Barclays and others, pass a Glass Steagall type act that requires retail banks to be separate companies. The proposal to implement a "Chinese walls", type of ring fencing as currently proposed by the coalition government has clearly been overtaken by events.
