Increase Motorway speed limit from 70-80MPH
Almost everyday the public are suffering from congestion at all times of the day.
If the Motorway speeds were increased from 70-80MPH many people would see the benefits of it.
People will get to their destination quicker.
The economy would benefit, online statistics state by 2025 Britain will have wasted £22bn from being stuck in traffic travelling to work.
Look how well the German Autobahn works, there isn't any speed limit but an advisory speed of 81MPH exists, traffic officers do not see a threat to life,this keeps traffic flowing without any hold ups.
The environment would benefit as people wouldn't be stuck in stop start traffic which gives higher emissions levels than free flowing traffic.
