Increase restrictions on Muslim nikahs: stop exploitation of women.
Currently, Muslim men can have multiple wives through religious marriage. This ceremony (nikah) is not legally recognised in the UK, and women in these situations do not have any legal protection or rights. I am proposing that nikahs are subject to the same regulations as any legally recognised form of marriage.
