Petition Action

indefinite leave to remain revocation

Additional Information

The Government needs to put measures in place to safeguard the public against immigrants that use them to gain Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK. Perpetrators con and manipulate British Citizens into thinking that they're in a genuine relationship and even go as far to have children with them.

After Leave to Remain is granted the partner who sought it will soon leave. Often leaving the partner reliant on the Government and subsequently the tax payer as a means of financial support and housing.

The Government has recently changed the Spouse/Partner visa to five years, however the five year visa isn't long enough and should be extended further.
