Introduce 'UK Politics' into the KS3 and KS4 National Curriculum

Petition Details

Too many people are uneducated about politics and have no real understanding of how society works. It is vital that the Government introduces the children of Britain to politics, so that they can make a well educated vote (when the time comes at 18), and understand our society.

Additional Information

"At the moment there is no option to study for a GCSE in politics...Granted, there are GCSEs in subjects called Citizenship and Social Sciences, but these are broad and are rarely offered by schools." -Liam McLaughlin (Huff Post)
"This situation leaves British teenagers with no real understanding of how society works and what their role is within it." -Liam McLaughlin (Huff Post)
