Petition Action

Introduce a public referendum for the death penalty on a case-by-case basis.

Additional Information

In extreme cases, allow a jury to let the public decide whether a capital punishment is justified, for that specific case. Let the entire British public vote on the issue.

Currently, criminals convicted of the most heinous crimes are often given long sentences, at the expense of the taxpayer, then eventually allowed back onto the street. Some pre-meditated crimes are so disgusting, many people think they should never be allowed out, nor is it fair for these individuals to drain money from the government.
