Petition Action

Invoke Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty

Petition Details

Article 50 is the only way of leaving the EU. Now there has been a vote for Brexit, why prolong the agony?

Additional Information

Under Article 50 we would have 2 years to negotiate our exit. This is more than enough time. Until then the UK will still be in the EU. How does that serve the democratically expressed will of the British people?
