The interactive nature of Launchpad and Free admission attract, encourage, inspire and engage in STEM, girls and boys from ALL backgrounds

The museum plans introduction of entrance fees following cuts in government funding and a £4 million transformation sponsored by firms inc.Nintendo and Shell

Additional Information

The UK faces a real science and engineering skills gap. A report by Engineering UK highlighted the need to double the number of annual recruits into engineering by 2020 to meet projected demand.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This decision is the responsibility of the Science Museum Group, which is operationally independent.

You could start a new petition calling for the cuts to Government funding for museums to be reversed.
