Knighthood for Clement Attlee
Clement Attlee deserves a knighthood for his services to britain. he changed the country into a fairer, juster society.
Attlee's Government:
Nationalised the Bankrupt railways
introduced many welfare benefit payments including maternity pay, sickness pay
employment for all
introduced secondary education as a right.
founding of the NHS
Built over 1000 new schools
employed 25000 new teachers
built over 1 million new homes
stopped the exploitation of workers.
We believe that Clement Attlee should be posthumously knighted for his services to politics.
