Legislate to make mental health awareness training obligatory for managers.
With 3 in 10 employees at sometime suffering mental illness in the workplace employers should be obliged to give managers appropriate training on how to recognise these issues as early as possible.
They should be trained in how to offer sympathetic support and understand mental illness.
