Petition Action

Make First Aid a compulsory part of the school curriculum in the UK.

Additional Information

Basic first aid should be a compulsory subject in all schools in the UK. If our younger generation are taught CPR from a young age, the survival rate of those who suffer a cardiac arrest will be much higher than it is now. Other skills such as dealing with burns, anaphylactic shock and how to put an individual into the recovery position are things that all people should be taught.
