Make it a legal requirement for cyclists to use cycle lanes when available
Cycle paths and lanes are put in place as a compromise between cycle safety and traffic-flow efficiency, yet too many cyclists still insist on cycling on busy, dangerous roads and causing safety hazards to themselves and other road users.
