Make pet insurance companies abide by transparent categories across the board
Currently pet insurance companies can pick and choose which illness/accident they will cover but can word the polices in a way that leaves you believing your pet is covered for anything.
If there were transparent categories across the board people would know what they were paying for
Failed claims can:
Cause people to get into debt
Endangers the animals, as people may not have the money to cover the much needed operation or treatment
Cause animals to be given up/abandoned because their owners can't find the money to care for them
And many people are choosing not to join an insurance company, preferring instead to save the money in a bank - But this could take time to build up
People have lost faith in the thing designed to protect their pets.
