Make 'UK Contemporary Politics' compulsary in Schools

Additional Information

We should teach about the UK government, the details and histories of the different political parties, and UK current affairs as part of the national curriculum.

Right now, people’s political education comes from inherited family values, or bias newspapers. This leads to headline based, narrow minded politics or, even worse, entirely disillusioned people who have no interest in politics at all.

Introducing 'UK Contemporary Politics' from a young age will inform the votes of a future generation. It will empower people from all backgrounds to have a more active role in the politics of their country.
