Petition Action

Make work pay- use Minimum Wage as a benchmark

Additional Information

A lot of taxpayers funds were used to come up with a figure for minimum wage needed by employees. This figure should be used as a benchmark for at least the following:

1) Fix Income Tax personal allowance to full time minimum wage say £12875.20 (£6.19x40x52) not £10000 in 2014!
3) Fix pensioners personal allowance to this figure also.
3) Fix TOTAL MAXIMUM benefits package to minimum wage less National Insurance per adult with NO exceptions (low paid make do so claimants can too)
