MPs must hold a free vote on whether (and if so, when) the UK will leave the EU
We must ensure our democratically elected MPs fulfil an obligation to participate in making important decisions about the future of the UK. The referendum indicated a preference but it remains an MP's duty to weigh that with all available information, then to vote for the best options for the nation
