National Service
We need National Service here in the UK!
Why?
So that after leaving school all young people get the chance to learn skills, learn respect, learn responsibility and learn what it means to contribute to the greater society they will live in.
What?
A choice for young people of which service they would join for 2 years:
Military
NHS
Elderly & Social Care
Coastguard
Emergency Services
Lifeboat Service
Cadet Forces
Mountain Rescue
Council Community Services
National Park's Services
When?
Either keep young people in school until 18 or when they leave school at 16/18 must take part in compulsory National Service.
