Austerity does not work, it only creates unemployment, hardship for the vulnerable and does not make for "sound economic sense"!
Creating mass unemployment is lunacy, You need to kick-start the economy to create employment.
Creating employment would enable people to take control of their own lives and not rely on the benefits system. It would also give them "dignity".
Being employed enables you to contribute to society, pay income tax, have money to spend which in turn will boost the economy and also create even more revenue for the Treasury through VAT.
The EU is dictating "Austerity and Liberalisation".
What gives these Dictats in the EU Parliament the right to destroy the UK economy?
Give the electorate of the UK the chance to vote on "Membership of the EU".
This has to be ASAP before the damage that will be caused by these cuts goes beyond repair.
