Petition Action

Parliament to debate the constitutional legallity of Great britains Membership of the European Union

Additional Information

Did the action of the Prime Minister in 1972 Edward Heath MP, in signing the accession document that took the UK into the then EEC now the EU, without first obtaining the consent of the British people to such an aggreement by means of a General Election or Referendum render the action a breach of British constitutional law and therefore the EU membership of the UK unlawful.

If unlawful will the Government bring this question of EU membership before the people in the form of a simple referendum on the basis; should the UK stay in or Leave the EU.
