Prevent energy companies price gouging in winter
With another winter comes another energy price hike. Electricity and gas are essentials, not luxuries, and so cannot be embargoed or influenced by consumer action. People have frozen to death in their own homes because of their personal financial state, and the government insists on some kind of "govern at a distance" policy which "suggests" and "urges". Most recently, Chancellor Osbourne "urges" energy companies to cut their prices. Pull your finger out and "order" them to! You're the elected leaders of this country, act like it!
