Price of plastic bags to high
should have different charges depending on grade of bag. Stronger ones dear and lighter ones cheaper. Its would be fairer that way and people would then buy them more. It makes sense, could you not work it that way. Charge from the cheapest to the dearest, starting around say 10p for example.

Government has confirmed a minimum charge of 5p a bag but anything more than that is the responsibility of retailers.
