Protect house purchasers/vendors with a defined process/law & financial penalty
A few years ago I ‘sold’ my property 4 times but only the 5th sale completed.
A property purchase/sale is the single biggest transaction but there is no law to protect buyer or seller, the industry relies on morales.
Purchasers need to be given a cooling off period and then after this there should be defined criteria or extenuating circumstances for pulling out.
Vendors should not be allowed to pull out of a sale except for extenuating circumstances.
There should be a financial commitment prior to exchange which reimburses loses.
