Provide support to all families hit by tax credits cuts
Recent tax credit cut bill might be in the interest of the nation and it does not seem to be the right solution.
Around 148,000 North East families currently receive child tax credit, according to the Office for National Statistics and according to the Resolution Foundation, more than a million households will lose an average of £1,350 a year. Before implementing such an unfriendly bill effecting the minimum wage earners and make their life more difficult with rising rents and deposits, government should provide alternatives
