Public services pay review

Additional Information

Hays UK: http://www.applythis.net/houseofcommons/Search/Vacancy/All/1/1149028/Barista%20Westminster%20England.html - for Barista's (sic) in catering on Parliamentary Estate, who work a 39hr wk & whose "usual working pattern will be 5/7 days from Mon-Sun" incl benefits :
Annual leave starting at 28 d
Interest-free season ticket loan
Child care voucher scheme
Disc membership of in-house gym - salary £20,173
Yet police pay is reduced, "Police pay to start £4,000 lower, at £19,000", 15/01/13, (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-21027176) & other services have low pay http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-12678661:
Nurses £21,176
Firefighters £21,157
Teachers £21,588
Soldiers £15,573
Is it right that someone who protects our country, our citizens, or looks after our sick or educates our young gets paid the same or thereabouts as someone who makes coffee for politicians?

Petition the govt to review their attitude to public service salaries and pay frontline staff the money they deserve.
