Petition Action

Public To Be Allowed To Vote On Same Sex Marriage

Additional Information

I would ask the government to consider the will of the people of the UK in considering Same Sex Marriage.
SSM would be a radical redefinition of the institutiion of marriage and I would urge the government to let the people decide on such an important change. This issue should not be decided by politicians and lobbyists alone. If this change of law is to be pursued I would ask the government to approach it in a democratic way and let the outcome be decided by the populace.
