Referendum on keeping the British Nuclear deterrent

Additional Information

The British Nuclear deterrent costs billions in tax payers money and is ultimately a weapon which is intended to never be used, and in fact is probably unusable regardless of circumstance.

Given its controversial nature and the proposed multibillion replacement of Trident, especially in the wake of the recession and government cuts, it is now time to have a referendum of the existence of the British Nuclear deterrent. Let the people decide if they want their nuclear weapons replaced or disarmed and scrapped.
