Replace plastic bags for loose fruit and vegetables in shops with paper bags
Although plastic bag consumption has fallen dramatically since the UK 5p bag charge was introduced, thousands of plastic bags are still used for loose fruits and vegetables - this damages our environment and animal shelter both on land and in the ocean.

The decision to replace plastic bags for paper ones would be one for individual retailers, not the UK Government or Parliament. You could raise this issue with retailers directly.
