Save Cleveland Police Mounted Section

Cleveland Police Mounted Section is currently situated at Ormesby Hall and consists of 5 Police Horses, 2 Members of police staff, 1 Sergeant and 6 police constables.

Cleveland Police's Mounted Section is to be axed under cost cutting measures.

The work of this section includes targeted patrols of high crime areas, policing of football matches and events and planned licensing patrols around the districts' town centers. The mounted Section has a crucial role to play in policing incidents of disorder and providing public reassurance
