Scrap E-Petitions in the Absence of Democratic Government
The successful e-petition demanding a referendum on EU membership was a sham. An undemocratic 3 line whip was used to prevent democracy and will be used again - this whole procedure is a charade.
The government should scrap the process as it is ineffective and therefore an unnecessary expense.
