scrap the oyster card system:
I want the government to scrap the oyster card system as it has failed to make travel easier as they said it was going to do. since the oyster has been introduced prices have risen ten fold and we are the most expensive city for public transport in Europe!
I propose we go back to the ticket system as the oyster is inaccessible, if you don't live near a shop or tube station and you want to travel late at night their is no option as shops stop oyster machine at 11pm. travelling has become more inconvenient since the oyster was introduced. we need a simple cheap travel system in our city of London. the fact that the oyster system proves to be a rather elaborate tracking device for all commuters in London as we were practically forced to use this card.
