If these e-petitions are not even going to be debated when they are well over the minimum requirement to be debated what is the point?
Either this process gains more respect in commons or it is pointless and should be abolished.
I would prefer the former but do not see the point in the costs of running this process if the latter is true.
If I am right in assuming MP's can't be forced into debate when they have no interest in doing so then it seems we should vote to end this pathetic attempt at pacifying voters with a process that is ignored when it matters.
