Petition Action

Seek withdrawl of the Queens honours of anyone guilty of serious crime

Additional Information

To seek a withdrawl of the Queens honours of anyone guilty of "serious crime" in a court of law in the England, Wales and Northern Ireland) . Removing "Sir", MBE, OBE etc..
The Seriou Crime Act 2007 states the type of crime deemed serious. Withdrawl of Honours: - By doing so may help some people who see themselves as victims of serious crime and help government. Reported widely the Prime Minister, David Cameron, in October 2012 raised the prospect of Sir Jimmy Savile being posthumously "stripped" of his knighthood in the wake of allegations of sexual abuse against young girls. It is in the interests of many we make this small but important correction, else we could see the honours system undermined by a future public prosecution.
