Send in the Army to control the riots and lotting
We, the undersigned, request that the Home Secretary and the Prime Minister send in the Army to all areas where rioting is taking place and use water cannons - and if necessary guns- to control the rioting and looting.
We request that all people found taking part in the looting and rioting are dealt with in the harshest manner by the courts.
The vast majority of the country is absolutely disgusted by their actions, about it spreading to other areas (e.g. Birmingham)
We are very concerned about the knock-on effect on the Olympics which are now less than a year away, which we desperately need to be a success to help our dreadful economic situation.
