Specific Cannabis Reforms

Additional Information

This is a call for government to make the following specific reforms to current UK cannabis legislation in an attempt to free up economic resources for the police force, to remove the economic and physical load on the penal system, and to hugely impact the economic strength of organised crime in the UK.

The proposed reforms are:

To allow persons aged 18 and above the right to the growth of no more than two plants per household for medical and/or recreational use.

Smoking cannabis in public will remain illegal.

The sale of cannabis will remain illegal.

Cannabis grown only under these circumstances will be considered legal.
