Stop allowing Train Companies to increase Rail fares

Petition Details

The way the rail companies constantly increase rail fares when the service is ridiculously poor is not acceptable.

The BBC today have reported that commuters are spending up to a 5th of their take home pay on their season ticket.

Additional Information

This cost isn't sustainable, something has to give.

It's time for the Government to cap the price rises.

It's about time we start paying a reasonable price for the shocking train system that we have.

In 2016/17, 7.2 million passengers experienced delays of at least 30 minutes.
There have been games created making fun of the shoddy service people experience.
This is simply not good enough.
