Stop Car Insurance companies charging for minor updates to policies
These fees are not fair and there are a few insurance companies that have scraped this practise and all should follow suit. Numerous other public and private sector companies allow changes without you being penalised with an ‘administration fee’ applying.
Whether you rent or buy a property, when you update your details with a car insurance company most will charge an 'administration fee' why? After all you can ring your bank, pension provider, doctor, dentist and numerous other public and private sector companies and make minor changes without being penalised with an ‘administration fee’ applying. Some even allow you to update your details online.
