Petition Action

Stop David Cameron lavishing millions on foreign Aid. Get this aid reduced

Petition Details

over the next five years, the Government will lavish £5.8 bn in aid on projects abroad ranging from fighting flood damage in Third World nations, to disaster insurance plans for Pacific islands, and solar energy in Nigeria.
These are incredible sums — especially amid an austerity programme

Additional Information

Cumbria, for instance, expects to spend £100 m repairing its roads alone.
A well-off Serbian city received £1million of new flood defences courtesy of British taxpayers. All this done under Cameron's strategy to tackle climate change. by cutting this aid we could help the homeless, build flood defences, house ex forces personnel, provide relapse cancer treatment for children, provide more house and services for the homeless and improve the NHS
