Petition Action

Stop donations made by UK taxpayers to foreign charitable organisations being allowable against tax.

Additional Information

When a UK citizen (usually a celebrity?) brags that they made a huge donation to a charity in a foreign country they are actually lying to us. Being able to charge that donation to their UK tax account means that UK taxpayers are ACTUALLY the people who are making the donation. This MUST be stopped. Charitable donations made in the UK are the ONLY such donations which should be allowable against tax.
