Stop High Speed 2; Invest the money in maintaining existing rail and road infrastructure
HS2 MIGHT benefit a few cities but the whole country would benefit from maintaining and improving our existing rail and road networks. All transport networks in the UK are in a dilapidated state due to neglect. We are a small country, is it really desirable to destroy even more countryside to reduce travel time from London to Birmingham? Spend the money on improving the existing networks so everyone can benefit.
