Stop "Road Tax" wasting government time
Managing e-petitions is a drain on government resources at a time of cuts. Therefore it would be a good idea to limit e-petitions only to those that are relevant. For example, petitions that call for abolition of or amendments to a form of taxation that was abolished over 70 years ago, could be automatically rejected and save a considerable amount of time.
Therefore, any petition that describes Vehicle Excise Duty as "Road Tax", should be rejected automatically.
