Petition Action

Stop this: MPs pitching for £10,000 pay rise:

Additional Information

MPs are ready to spark public anger by pocketing a £10,000 pay rise while cutting public sector wages.
The MPs proposal would see basic annual salaries in the Commons rise from £65,738 to more than £75,000 at a time of cutbacks.
Instead, The MPs are encouraged to claim more expenses under the counter.
The expenses scandal ended all that and now the MPs are left with a pitiful pay cheque. Mps say we are thousands of pounds a year worse off on a pay level and that is a joke to any self-respecting London professional.
‘Voters may not like it but if you pay peanuts you get monkeys to run the Country..
